I think I'll tweet every day. Portland will be a better place when that hack retires.

Amazing that he has actually gotten worse with time. Maybe trying to create some relevancy?

So, let me get this straight. Quick is PDXKass?

wait he's retiring?

Ah well. No one is forced to read his stuff. Simple.

Yet we get accused of stalking Lennay?

I'll bet that's what you say about all of the ladies Mags.

I don't read his stuff, but it bothers me that he keeps harassing Blazer players in order to look like he's legitimate.

Unlike Canzano, who is an egomaniac and transparent shit-stirrer, Jason Quick is a smart guy, knows his hoops, knows the Blazers, and is a good writer.

I know, I know, the contrarian opinion.

Quick's desire to fabricate stories and situations undermines any of his good writing.

How dare you sir, the hive mind will not stand for this!

I never thought he was that bad until this most recent LaMarcus article.

I think he's gotten a lot better as the years have gone on.... plus he writes less since he stopped being the beat writer.

I haven't read him as much the past couple of years because there are so many easier and quicker ways to get Blazer news.

It must be frustrating for him, however. Clearly he wants to move from beat writer to features or editorials, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards for him.

News has moved past print journalism. When was the last time the Oregonian broke something Blazers related?

Exactly. He used to be THE SOURCE for Blazer news. Now he's just a guy who recaps games.

Like Damian Lillard said, "Quick ain't fair."

Tokito and Freeman are the beat writers, Jason's officially a sports columnist...

Thanks for the correction. It shows you how closely I've followed Oregonian Blazer coverage over the past couple of years.

I wish the players knew that the fans don't follow their trash column writing. Maybe they wouldn't be able to run players out of town?

He also knows LMA's leasing company, and stalks LMA's life to find out info.
