Canzano must have changed his opinion after the Charlotte loss...I heard him say on the radio this past week to only expect a Frye for Udoka trade by the deadline.

I would say that the Miles situation makes it more likely that the Blazers use Raef's ending contract to try and gain an impact player than if they still looked to have major cap space in the off-season. Still, I don't expect a trade for a trade's sake. It all depends on whether there's a good deal available.

Canzano also predicted that Darius Miles would never play again. Dude just likes to make stuff up and try to get a reaction. He does the same thing everytime he talks about soccer. Its like when anyone mentions we might make a trade for a much needed scorer/vet...the general concensus in the forum is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We cant trade outlaw, sergio, raef or frye! I mean outlaw is sooooo good. Hes so good on defense and we might miss the nights where he shoots us out of games. OR maybe we might miss the day that sergio actually can hit a jumper and play defense. Frye is the best 20 foot jump shooter in the nba. DONT TRADE THESE GUYS!!! WE ARE FINE!

Sergio? You've gotta be kidding me already. Frye? What is the deal anyway - it is obvious Nate has something against him! and Outlaw...although I just love the "guy" for his goofy smile and big heart - if he is actually coveted by someone - then you've got to look at a move.

With that said, all teams need role players and Travis is nice to have on the team for those purposes. So this leaves me with Fyre / Sergio as "icing" not part of any "batter" of this so-called cake.

I've got to think that alot of KP's comments are "posturing" to give the appearance that we are in no hurry to do anything and it'll take a significant offer to get Raef's contract. Disclaimer: include me in the "I don't know what the hell I'm talking about club".
