I guarantee they keep George over Granger 10 out of 10 times.

He's much younger.

He's healthy.

He's dynamic.

Seriously have you watched the Pacers at all this year?

I did and I think they would still be almost as good on the defensive end with DMC and Aldridge in their line-up. An I already said I would swap granger for George to make it happen.

Suppose you can always essentially swap Aldridge for Lopez, potentially, if LA would do something along those lines.

According to sources, King was planning to contact the Minnesota Timberwolves in order to gauge their interest in a three-team trade that would send Kevin Love to the Lakers, Brook Lopez to the Timberwolves and Dwight Howard to the Nets. Other small pieces would need to be included, but the proposed trade was thought to be intriguing enough to start conversations in the Lakers front office that would force them to deal with Howard earlier than planned.

That idea, however, was hurt when Love was sidelined 8-10 weeks with a broken hand. The Nets believed the Lakers would be interested in Love, but not an injured Love, even if they’re facing missing the playoffs, according to sources.

King will still look around for an attractive piece for the Lakers, but won’t make getting Howard as big a priority as last season, according to sources. But he will continue to watch the Lakers and explore intriguing trade options, sources said.

You could do it.

Granger and Hibbert

for

Aldridge, Matthews, Leonard, and Freeland.

Would they do it though?

When can we trade for Hibbert? Is it after this year or after next.

I think we technically could at any time, since he did not sign the offer sheet from us. But Indiana wouldn't deal him for Aldridge, IMO. Too important to their defense.

Lopez was in one of my trade proposals. He has the highest PER of any Center so far this year. I think this team (like a lot of teams) would love to get a hold of Marshon Brooks.

Even then I don't see LA being traded for anything that makes our team worse for the next 2 years the least I could see being taken for LA is Promising Rookie/Exp deal/top 3 protected lottery pick.He is WORTH more then that so that would be the lowest i'd go, asking for anything less is just silly.

He didn't? Well that changes things in my mind then.

First: Fuck John Canzano.

Second: If we trade LaMarcus in the next year or two, the Blazers won't see a nickel from me until they win a first round playoff game, which will be in 2018 at the very earliest.

Third: Fuck John Canzano in the neck.

I think there's virtually no chance that the Blazers are looking at moving Aldridge. I think that this quote from Jason Quick's article yesterday rings absolutely true as to what Olshey is planning:

"We need to add three really good players,'' this summer, Olshey said. "It's either going to be a draft pick and you split the $12 million between two guys; or you don't have the draft pick and you split the $13.5 million between three guys and the mini-mid level (exception). That's what we need. We are not going to use the Big Three model. We will need to accomplish our roster composition goals in the aggregate.''

The core is already set: Aldridge, Lillard, Batum & Matthews. He's looking for a center, and backups at PG & SG. He's looking to make the run based on the Detroit aggregate talent model rather than the Big 3 model. No trades this year, Hickson plays out his contract and is cut loose for cap space or possibly used in a S&T.

Oh, and I forgot to add; Canzano is still a throw shit at the side of the barn and see if it sticks kind of guy.

No keeping Hickson. Hick sons PER for and against at PF is virtually as bad as at C

As for value, you'd be talking multiple picks and young players shown to have a good career ahead of them

So trade a known All-Star for draft picks that may someday become All-Stars.

May as well trade Lillard, too, and hope that the draft pick you get for him becomes an All-Star.

Vic is not enough, but two of his caliber and a high pick, and I would probably do it. Also would need to be a team that thought they could win now

Yes. Get rid of an All-Star on a great contract for 2 or 3 lesser players. That's how championship teams are built.

Personally I am not wanting to trade LMA. But if I was trading him it wouldn't be because I thought he was too old. I would trade him if I thought it would make us better (not saying this deal does specifically) but I couldn't care about matching ages with the rest of the team. You look at all the NBA champions, you are never going to find a team that had its core (top 4 players) all within 3 years of each other.

MIAMI.

Big three are within 3 years of each other.

I bet I'm late with this.

I believe you are correct sir.
