Russell Los Angeles, California : Who was your toughest player to defend in these playoffs?

Carl Landry: It would have to be LaMarcus Aldridge. He's talk, quick and a very skilled player. He's young but he's only going to get better.

Nice.

Carl, how would you like to back him up?

I bet that was a Laker fan fishing for a Pau Gasol stroke off.

That would be nice, but I'm still pinning my hopes to picking up Antonio McDyess in free agency; that dude will instantly make our front court rotation as formidable as they come.

Speaking of McDyess: I wonder if he wishes he would have stayed in Denver at this point rather than getting his release after the Billups/Iverson trade.

Maybe he likes having a longer summer break?

Ed O.

Hehe, maybe. You kind of have to admire him for his loyalty to the Pistons and staying with the sinking ship, but Denver would be steam-rolling the Lakers if they had his toughness and an extra big body to throw at them. Who knows, maybe he'll be excited to get with a team on the rise this summer?

I kind of see Landry as a younger version of the current McDyess. The guy goes all out, love his game and would be the ideal backup PF IMO. Nice to see he's got the respect for LaMarcus.

I would love havin McDyess on our squad!
