The free agent pool this summer is arguably one of the strongest. Add that the draft is strong too; you have a lot of flexibility and creativity to possibly land some top tier talent.

I actually think this is a good approach. There aren't a lot of impact players left that are actually worth the MLE, so if they really need some warm bodies, they could probably sign some D-league guys to minimum contracts to round out the roster and get largely the same impact as wasting money on Evans or Fesenko.
