Second-seeded Vera Zvonareva rallied to defeat Jelena Jankovic 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 on Friday to set up a final against top-ranked Caroline Wozniacki in the Qatar Ladies Open.
Wozniacki cruised into the final with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Marion Bartoli of France. She will be aiming for her 14th career title after winning the trophy in Dubai last week.
Zvonareva trailed 0-40 tied at 4-4 in the third before she staged her comeback. She won five straight points and broke her opponent in the next game to reach her second final in Doha.
"It's always tough against Jelena," the Russian said. "She's a great player, really aggressive and I'm quite excited over my victory. It was a great atmosphere out there."
