I could care less about if RJ comes back. And I hope Vince doesn't get any say in RJ staying or leaving. If we could get something really good for him, then hell, I hope Rod takes it.

Agreed. I'm a huge fan of Vince but it's obvious from his Toronto days that he doesn't have the best eye for talent.

Vince didn't make the Raptors sign anyone they themselves didn't want.

Grunwald wanted a center so Antonio Davis could move back to his PF position. Grunwald was also interested in Hakeem years before the signing:

Oh I agree. I had no problem with his remarks re RJ. I was really just trying to make a light-hearted remark about his not so shining suggestions for Toronto's signings.

To be fair, I should also point out that he lobbied heavily for Steve Nash years ago, well before anyone saw Nash becoming a two-time league MVP. If Toronto had made that move, Vince might still be there.
