We've been saying for a while he is not and never has been a real GM. Just a clown with a huge checkbook. When the purse strings are tight he's like a guy bailing out the engine room of the Titanic with a dixie cup.

Cashman if not bailing out the Titanic with that Dixie Cup, would be re-arranging the chairs on deck of the sinking Titanic, or perhaps playing violin......

Will this prick do anything this year to get the job done? If not, we have no need for Him, none at all....!

I only wish King George would resurrect, and take over the reigns again. How can one not miss our King George?

I do that's for damn sure. This would be a whole different team if he were still the man.
 
I long ago had it with Cashman. Not only is this roster currently worse you can't tell me there's anybody worth a damn in the minors.
 
I don't blame trash man at all. I blame idiot hal who has his head up his ass and not only doesn't fire him for incompetence but keeps bringing him back. Thats the real problem. Cashman has always been braindead without a big check to write. But that has been for a long while now.
 
^^^I'm glad you brought this up because I've been saying the same thing for awhile now.

...I'm by no means a Cashman fan but when you get right down to it, Cashman really can't help that he's a poor man's GM, even though he's had over 15 years to figure the job out. I really don't think he can do any better, period.
..."accountability" does not stop at the GM's office, it goes all the way to the top, and the 2 Steins are oblivious to the damage done to this franchise. Yes, The Boss hired Cashman but soon turned the reins over to his boys, who have never had to work for anything in their whole lives so though they say otherwise, I really don't think they give a shit, why should they?...the Yankees were given to them.

...I think GMs should be Baseball people like Stick and Watson, instead of someone like Cashman who was essentially George Costanza when he was given the GM job.
 
Hey....he fired Long, what months ago? That kind of stuff is tiring....he's rebuilding his strength. Someone get him a latte.

You said it all, and very well 59, I do believe we mostly all share the same sentiments....!

What a Frappucino Double Mocha won't do, the Cash-Hole, only drinks Latte's and holds his cup with his pinky sticking out dahling.....get the fkr a triple cappucino, then he'd shake like a leaf, at the bargaining table of the GM's, show his true colors.

One thing is for sure, Brian is NOT a bulldog, of a GM. More like a concierge, "I'll take your coat sir".....!

I agree as much, the Steins don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. what did they do all those years daddy took care of them. Not watch one game, rather were playing Atari during the games.....they could at least of been playing MLB Play Station.....! But then they wouldn't know what to do, so, I bet their favorite game was Super Mario Brothers..........!!!
