Do we really expect things to get better around here when two idiot sons and a guy like Levin who knows nothing about baseball is running things?

I just posted the same comment in another thread. Cashman didn't want Soriano, really. Well who was being DFA today? that would of been up Bargain Basement Brian's alley right?

I don't care for Cashman at all but if your GM isn't going to make the baseball decisions or you don't trust him to than find another GM.

He's not a good GM. He has with of blood on this mess but if the owners don't respect his work what are they keeping him for? Fire him already like 90% of us are begging for anyway. Then the problem becomes hoping this brain dead front office can even be competent enough to hire a GM who doesn't suck and the actually allowing him to do his job.

...I they supposedly don't have the sense to fire Cashman, why would they have enough sense to a better one?

Cashman being against the Soriano deal makes me think that the Yankees will be neither sellers nor buyers at the deadline. I do not see Cashman doing anything (seeing that he is inherently lazy) other than hoping Jeter and Granderson turn into Jeter 2012 and Granderson 2011.
