I can understand it and respect it.
It's much easier than not looking or perpetually disagreeing.
Especially when "someone" doesn't assume the expected position.
The classic see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil three monkey picture...but in this case it really means:
I refuse to see when "someone" else may have a good point or an opposing view.
I refuse to hear "someone" else possibly being correct or disagreeing with me.
I refuse to tell "someone", I agree. Lol,..even a broken clock is " correct" twice a day.
Believe me, I've read some posts which are real beauties from a couple of posters.
If somebody who doesn't follow baseball happened to read these posts, they would think the Yanks are in last place......and a baseball fan who may be casually browsing on this board may think Yankee fans are stupid, yep, I said "stupid" because of some of these posts by one or two.....and I'm NOT referring to a couple of the "older" (lol) posters.
As I think about it, I'm actually getting a bit annoyed myself with all this hypocritical , double standard self righteousness. My various thoughts, comments, opinions, expectations, criticisms and compliments regarding the Yankees/baseball are every bit as cogent, valid, legitimate and reasonable as anyone else's and measures up favorably with any other posters' various range of opinions, criticisms ect......
And I ALWAYS welcome and never hide from opportunities to exchange thoughts and opinions on a Yankee/baseball Board........but sometimes one gets a little tired of getting pissed on by a few, NOT ALL.
Just telling it like it is.....no sympathy required...nor do I plead or complain to moderators to "do something" about it.
