My post thinks. Wait?
It’s not a sentence. It’s a word making a statement that presumes a question. Go ahead and look it up.Is that last sentence a question?
Is that last sentence a question?
Maybe @crandc could explain it better. It’s not a sentence. It’s a word making a statement that presumes a question. Go ahead and look it up.
He’s asking why I put a question mark after “Wait” in the comment above. What exactly is the sentence or word?
Some statements add inflection with different punctuation. In that instance I was writing it to sound like a question if I was speaking it.What exactly is the sentence or word?
Could be shorthand for "can you wait?" That would be my interpretation. He’s asking why I put a question mark after “Wait” in the comment above.

Then I went back and realized I hadn't clicked the like ....

One thing for certain is the art of communication through the written word is tough these days. Too many just proofread and miss little nuances that are in the statement.
You seem to be one that I need to read your entire post because there is usually a nugget in there that makes the phrase or comment worth reading.
