Cavaliers trying to sign Oden for 2 years

this is best case scenario for us, if he went to Miami or OKC it would be more heartbreak for us. Good luck G.O.

I wish him nothing but good health and good luck.

Good luck to Greg. Him playing well on a good team would make this tougher.

If they can add another piece that Cleveland team could be pretty good a few years down the road.

Add another piece? What were you thinking he needs? Articular cartilage? Meniscus? Longer leg bone?:ghoti:

They're doing this in revenge for Hickson.

If he's good then Cleveland will be contenders; which will give me heartbreak

If he goes to Miami, he might actually win a title before Durant. That'd be hilarious.

I assume that 2 years is this year and next year. They are not using their capspace this year, so it's really only tying up $4 mil for 1 year. I don't see how this is "heartbreak" for Cleveland.

Well I'm one who believes LeBron James will find his way back to Cleavland. So if Oden can stay healthy, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James and Greg Odan could be a pretty damn good core of players. I bet that's what the Cavs have in mind later on down the road as well.

I don't know what you're smoking but I want some. Lebron will never go back to Cleveland.

It sounds crazy, but there have been "rumors"

It would be a bad move because lbj has created a name for himself in a large market. I don't understand why he would do that unless he was extremely guilty. I just don't see that with him.

Yeah, it's totally going to be an NBA redemption story. The NBA needs "stories" more than wrestling does.

Lebron already created a big name for himself in Cleveland he will be the biggest name in basketball regardless of the city. Even if he was in tiny little Portland.

Lebron wanted help getting a championship and he got that. The Heat dynasty looks unbeatable now, but in a few years if Wade finally breaks down and they are in luxury tax hell I'd think his hometown would be on the short list he'd consider for sure. He has unfinished business there.
