Cavs @ Blazers 1/08/2012 - Game Thread!

Sessions seems like a ball pounder to me... lots of dribbling from what I saw. Not great what needs to be a quicker half-court offense.

I wouldn't count last night's game as a representative sample.

Just wondering if any of you guys bitching about Jamal Crawford have EVER SEEN HIM PLAY? Also wondering what your posts on here were like right as we were lucky enough to sign him. This is his game! Always has been, always will be. Never a high % shooter........ very streaky.......... nothing new.

That's EXACTLY what folks have been bitching about... Nothing new!

I wasn't all that excited when we signed him, I've seen him play plenty and you're right, he looks pretty much like he always has ... C'est la vie.

He's been a key cog in all our wins. Not sure what the complaint is about. Nate's been riding him a little more because he has no choice really. Crawford can be a one man 10-0 run when he's on, when he's off well, we should look to other options. Something that has really surprised me about him has been his defense. He's been great at coming over for the double and getting a deflection. He leads the club in steals at 2 per game.

Been to the game last night. First half was snooze fest of epic proportions. It was interesting to see that 40% of the Cavs starting unit used to play for Maccabi Tel-Aviv and we still could not put them away in that first half.

Irving is going to be a nice little player in this league. Kid can ball.

I think sideshow bob is still recovering from the lockup. His flopping was sub-par for most of the game.

Wallace's tenacity on the court is contagious. Crawford can't help put step his defensive game up when everybody around him is playing balls out. Love that we picked him up..... I think when we go on this road trip and need a lift on the offensive end coming down the stretch on a back to back, you will see his true value.

I would not touch this roster unless you got an extremely lopsided deal. You just can't please everyone I guess...

It seems to me that Felton has been pretty good for team chemistry. Yeah, he's a bit out of control at times, but seems coachable and has a lot of heart. The body language of teammates seems to indicate that they like playing with him. I'm glad we have him.

Quick, I can smell you from a mile away, with your concern for body language. Go admire someone else's body.

Jason, you are much funnier than I expected. Maybe I'll start reading your articles.

(That made me laugh more than possibly anything else I've ever seen on this board.)
I like this guy Jason.

I'm with you on this one. Unless we are getting way more value in return, I would wait on messing with this chemistry. Fg%, or mistakes, can pull your head out; but it really seems the team really trusts each other. The only player I see not buying us Batum. But I think it has more to do with being discouraged about not starting.

Well then...I'm all twitterpated!
