Brent Musberger made his statement when the Blazers won their 1977 championship and it was his excuse for not showing the locker room celebration and instead cutting away to a golf match....the majors are always more "exciting" than regular season basketball, but the playoffs are on a whole different level![]()

Musberger did not make that decision. He was just the guy that was tasked to give you the bullshit.
And the guards at Auschwitz were just doing their jobs...

I have gone golfing once in my life. My dad took me to a golf course in Toronto with a buddy of his. It was just before my 12th birthday. I ended up getting sick on the 4th hole. He never took me golfing again, and I have never had anyone to go with. It seems like a fun sport and those courses look beautiful!
I couldnt shoot my age at putt putt golf heh.I like to get a round in when I could when I was working, especially when traveling. IBM had some nice courses back east, the one in Poughkeepsie NY was especially nice.
I managed to break into the 70s one time on that course way back when I was still a young fellow. That was the one and only for me, and I haven't played there in 40 some years now.
When I move to Bandon I got interested again for awhile, but got pissed off trying to break 80, so I let it go for a few years. Then It occurred to me that I just might be able to shoot my age when I turned 80. So I gave it a go! By golly I made it. Just plain good fortune I think, and that will do. Back to Sailing.
those courses look beautiful!
I would really like to take my kids over to bend sometime, I havent been there in years but I remember it being so pretty....it is amazing over here in "Beautiful Central Oregon", especially the golf courses![]()

I had a long time friend the lived there, in a development near China Hat with a golf course winding around and through the houses.
Really nice but I can't remember the name of the development.
My dad took me golfing two or three times when I was somewhere around 12 years old. I loved it but that was mostly because I loved doing things with my dad.I have gone golfing once in my life. My father used to take me golfing a few times. It's nice but I'm definitely not addicted to it and I'd rather watch paint dry than watch golf on TV.I have gone golfing once in my life.
