Carter's done, and would never have fit here if he wasn't. Stick a fork in him.

Bake it!

:blahblah:

This from the guy who readily admits he doesn't watch any other basketball except for Blazers games. Thanks for sharing.

I say take Carter and run. If you can get Carter for RLEC and maybe a player and picks, do it. McGrady is probably done. Marion would probably bolt in the offseason. I think Carter is the option. It wouldn't be that big of a gamble.

If we are going to trade for Carter, he's probably going to replace Outlaw at SF, so throwing him in if NJ wants him is fine with me. I had two questions about this trade. First, how does he do at SF compared to SG? This site shows me that his offense is better at SF, but his defense is worse, by the way, Outlaw is better at PF on both offense and defense. Since both are worse at defense at SF than other positions and Carter is far better at offense at SF, I could live with the idea as long as the other question checks out and we don't have a better option. Second question, how long would he be in blocking Batum and Webster? Looking at Storyteller's site, his contract could look good and make him a possible consolation prize in the summer of 2010. Not bad, I was against it a while ago, but looking closer, I might be interested in him.

I suspect the person we obtain with RLEC will at once be a head-scratcher and an "of course!" moment.

I'm starting to think crazy--Carlos Boozer.

Sorry - started a new thread on Vince for Raef+Outlaw. Should have folded it into this one.

Even with Carter, Nate won't let the team run.

I wasn't saying "run" literally Minstrel

Nate wouldn't run unless...
