VC has two more years guaranteed at 16+ and 17+ million with a team option for the third at 17+ million. I don't know where you got 5 million.

The third year is a 4M buyout if released before June 30, 2011

So, that makes it even worse then I thought. I thought at worse we have VC for two more years and if he isn't playing well we could at least let him go without paying him anymore money. Now I hear we would have to pay him 4-5 million more just to not have him on the team.

Like I have said VC is just a smokescreen and we don't really want him.
