Aside from the obvious disappointment from the Blazer's loss it was a great weekend of basketball.

Rose had a legendary game 1
Memphis upset the Spurs in a nail-biter
Howard and Nelson had career games and STILL lost to ATL
CP3 was phenomenal against the Lakers

Is the end of perennial play-off regulars like LA, San An, and Boston? Are we seeing the rise of new powerhouses?

I think it might be just a touch premature to write the epitaph on some of these teams. It was one playoff game.

The Spurs will come back and win the series.

The Lakers will come back and win the series.
