Wish Chief well...he'll be back near family and I hope one day he becomes the Commissioner of Basketball Africa......he was in Italy with ET and Mo studying business.....he's hooked in over there and HE'S CHIEF!!!!!!!!!!!

I like Chief a lot. I felt he was underrated by the fans.

But I also think he was overrated by Stotts and spent too much time on the floor!

Too much time on the floor? He seldom played over 30 minutes and averaged about 20 mpg while he was in Portland.

Ive got great respect for him and how he conducted himself while in PDX!

Whatever he played, it was too many.

By the way... it took two second to look up that his lowest MPG in Portland was this year at 28.3. His high was 30. So, check ya facts, FAMS!

It was a typo as i am on my phone, it was meant to say averaged around 29 min. The 9 and 0 are next to each other. :bgrin:

So you were trying to make a point about him NOT playing too many minutes and went for 29 but missed the key and put 20?
On what team is Cheif playing 29 mins a game not too many minutes?
Really like Chief but he was not starter quality and should not get starter minutes. I wonder what Orlando will be getting for their 10 mil a year? Betting his minutes drop to 20 or less.

I'm so confused...

A) Aminu and Harkless are widely considered similar talents and redundant players, i.e., you can survive, and maybe even thrive, with one of them in a modest role, but not both.

B) Orlando signed Aminu for slightly more per year than his old contract with us, if I'm not mistaken.

C) His new contract is very close to that of Harkless.

D) Harkless is regularly listed among the bad contracts of 2016.

E) Some people here are saying that Orlando got a great deal and they wish we re-signed him for that dollar amount??

I'm in the camp of I'd have been happy to sign him for that amount, not that I think it is a great deal, but I think it is a trade friendly contract, for a team that is going to be over the cap for the foreseeable future.

We didn't trade him at any time over the past 4 yrs on a similar dollar amount...

I don't get it for Orlando. Aminu, Gordon, Isaac at PF. And just drafted Okeke. Not that the $$ is bad. Just don't see it. None of them should see much time at SF.

Gordon may get dealt. I could see the Spurs or Timberwolves Interested in him.

29 minutes is fine as he was the best option on the team at that position
