China has denied allegations by NASA chief Bill Nelson that they want to take over the moon.

They are ramping up their space program and are aiming to have a research base on the moon by the 2030's.

Nelson says we should be concerned that they might beat us to building a moon base and then claim the moon for themselves. He says there is a new space race, but this time it's between the US and China.

So we do have secret bases?

Dogs don't need to know.

It's like saying China is trying to take over Oklahoma:
Maybe they are, but why would anyone care?

China has a reputation of building shit too fast and having it fail soon after from cutting corners...if they park on the moon you could probably sanction the moon and leave them stranded there. People are only going to buy so many moon rocks at the gift shop and there's precious little seafood up there..yeah...I don't see that plan working out for the Chinese colonists at all.

Yeah, China is trying to distract its population from the shit storm that is heading their way.

The bigger question is, will abortions be legal there.
