Calling a college coach a whore is like calling the ocean wet. It is less an insult than an observation.

After what happened at Penn St, I no longer even blame them.
 
Well you know what they say. If it sounds too good to be true..... it probably is.
 
This will be his last season with Oregon. A better job than Tampa will probably open up next offseason and he'll take it. NFL owners also now know that Chip is serious about making the jump to the NFL so they will up their offers to him.
 
Have the "sky is falling" babies calmed down yet since last night's meltdown. Targus, you still trying go get me banned, even though I knew what was up all along?
 
Woke up to find out chip kelly is staying? Good news for all duck fans. I dont care about his indesisiveness that much. He wants to go to the NFLl and turned dowb his "dream job" to come back to oregon, means a lot to me he did that. Just because his name was tossed around this year doesnt mean he will get another shot to coach an NFL team next year or anytime soon ( who am i kidding every team to fire their coach will take a look at him).

"Indecisiveness" = taking a few hours to think about the job before saying his heart is with Oregon.

Maybe Uncle Phil made Chip an offer he couldn't refuse.

It wasn't a horse for Chip, silly boy, it was a dopey looking white dog head with blue eyes and its tongue hanging out.

I don't want anyone banned. I asked you to stop calling me an f* idiot, among other names. Stop being dramatic. Since it was clear you weren't going to stop, I solicited the help of the board mods. I never said anything about "banned".

Also, you make a lot of claims here. A lot. Most are inaccurate. You just happen to be right on this one. You claim your source told you, but according to "sources" close to Chip, he didn't even know for sure his decision until midnight. If you make enough 'predictions' eventually one will be correct. You just happen to be correct on this one. Ride it for all its worth. You'll soon be wrong again.

Totally super, no doubt about it. But I don't blame him for seriously considering what was probably a pretty damn attractive offer.
 
i wont blame him at all if he leaves for the nfl, more money, better job, good for him

True. If he wants to be so upset and put out with me calling Chip a whore, maybe he should take up a more serene and less passionate hobby where fellow partakers won't insult him so much with their opinions. Shuffleboard might be a good start. Or, he could just leave...

Chip is a genius!! It's a few days before national signing day and we are the talk of the country with a coach that is coming back to kick USC ass and take a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

He said no to the NFL to be a DUCK and that says to every recruit who's undecided who wasn't thinking of the OOOO to maybe think about it again! Also it cleary tells the whole country that the NFL and it's decision makers watch the Ducks. So if you're a 5* recruit mulling over what schools give you that NFL advantage... well Oregon just gave you a calling card every 10 minutes on ESPN for 48 hours six days before you decide where ya want to officially call home for the next few years!

Well done Chip!!!
