I loved Gary Payton’s game so much, could be because he’s a fellow Beaver, but it was so fun watching him get in the head of other players and then just ware them down during the game.

And with the all time leader in blocked shots protecting the rim behind them. That squad may lack 3-point shooting, but they would be the perfect defense for today's NBA where the focus is on locking down the 3-point line and preventing high percentage lay ups - basically taking away the most efficient scoring options and forcing your opponent to take a lot of inefficient long 2-pointers.

I would have to replace wb with a better 3 ball player to be certain about that. That team already has the ability to get to the rim, it needs another elite long ball shooter to clearly be the best given today's rules in my mind
