the match ups? Supposably Stotts doesn't thing Hickson can play this pace of game. Meyers got 16 minutes tonight also. Freeland got 13 minutes. Might this be coming from the front office to play the young guys more?

A lot of games Hickson plays huge minutes. Some games he doesn't. I think it has to do more about matchups at this point. I wouldn't get suspicious unless he got little minutes 3 or more games in a row.

We were outscored by ten in the 15 minutes he was on the floor. We went on runs with Freeland and Leonard. Not sure how Stotts can be criticized.

You should know better than to question BGD's sources. Te'o's girlfriend would have.

Freeland played more minutes because he played great last game. They all play spot minutes and if they play well, the play more that game and then the next. That was the case with Freeland.

Could be motivational tactic. It seem like Hickson rarely has more than one or two bad games in a row. He seems extra motivated when coming off a bad game, or after getting his PT cut back. He responded with a career high 21 rebounds tonight.

Blazers aren't going to make the playoffs. Freeland is under contract for 2 more years, Hickson will be testing the free agent market this summer.

Play Freeland to develop. Bench Hickson to decrease his value and see if you can get him cheap this summer . . . it's a business.
