With Cho as GM?
Yeah, and maybe MM or Mixum will learn to post someday.

Might not be the case. As RR7 said above, we could possible be getting an exception and add him without waiving anyone.
A team must have 12 players on its active roster, although they can drop to 11 for up to two weeks at a time. They must suit up at least eight players for every game. Any remaining players must be on its Inactive List, and are ineligible to play in games. A team must have a minimum of one and a maximum of three players on its Inactive List, although they can drop to zero for up to two weeks at a time, and can temporarily have four with league approval in the event of a hardship.

My sense is that when Cho does make a move, and I don't know whether it will be before the deadline or not, but when he does, there are going to be a lot of surprised people around here. He strikes me as the kind of guy who doesn't leak anything prior to making a move.
Wow, I didn't know Johnson's sister was in porn. I wonder if she'll fly in for some games?
Portland is eligible for the exception because four of its players – Marcus Camby, Greg Oden, Brandon Roy and Elliot Williams – have missed at least three games and are declared to be out at least another two weeks.
The Blazers can sign Johnson to a second 10-day contract, then will be forced to make a decision whether to keep him or let him go. If they keep Johnson, they’ll have to move another player because they are at the 15-player roster limit.
"Great length. Can block some shots. He gets off the floor quick, both on his first and second jump. He will have to become a better rebounder. He needs to gain some weight, get stronger. But he's got a chance."
Someone tell him to eat something, shit. He needs to get on the Greg Oden diet.
What are the chances we're doing this because we ARE trading for Randolph and we want one of his old teammates to maybe boost his morale?
well, i like this move. Considering Oden's very uncertain future status and Camby and Pryzbilla's age, we definitely need to develop a young big man. The sooner we start the better. And by the end of the year the team should know whether this guy can be something or not, so it could help in draft decisions.
Is this guy really a big man? I thought he was more of a forward at LSU.

TRAIL BLAZERS SIGN CENTER CHRIS JOHNSON
Portland granted hardship exception, roster stands at 16
PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Trail Blazers have signed center Chris Johnson of the NBA Development League's Dakota Wizards to a 10-day contract, it was announced today by General Manager Rich Cho.
The NBA granted Portland a hardship exception, allowing the team to sign Johnson (6-11, 210 lbs) and expand its roster to 16 players. He is the fourth call-up of the 2010-11 NBA Development League season.
Johnson, 25, is averaging 17.2 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 3.07 blocked shots in 27 games (all starts) with Dakota this season.
The LSU product is shooting 51.0% from the field and scored a career-high 34 points to go with 14 rebounds Jan. 22 vs. Rio Grande Valley.
Which means we are not in trade discussions for Randolph. Or maybe we were and Cho couldn't pull the trigger.

Why does it seem that the Oregonian is always the last to report something like this?
Pretty sure he's tried that..
