..."Not me, I'm in my prime".
^^^^ I think i went straight from puberty to past my prime....

My son has ensured we've had "Amazon Prime" over the years; but, I don't feel any younger.

I just found out the infamous great epic Mossy Creek Festival closed down after 34 yrs in 015, now that's sad. What happened, was the economy going sour, or price of vendor's travels, costs of goods, vs those buying, off kilter like most of the nations tanked economy, as of the last 8...

that- great Georgia crisp air, woods, plenty of greenery, always that down home feel. Where people are real; when they ask how are ya'a doing, they really want' to know, offended if you say ok, and keep walking, an insult to those who call Georgia, and most of the South home, and have manners beyond city dwelling monsters who have no clue what rural or southern, hell common sense manners are.

topped with plenty of some of the most soul soothing of foods/feasts; and culinary skills, found in many a home cooks BBQ, Kitchen or Bakery. 2nd to none, every bit as festive as a Cajun/Creole Mardi Gras....then some, when it comes to the Big Pig Jig.....

getting back on track to Sale, and Moncada. Regardless of how much a weapon Moncada turn's out to be, I really doubt the South siders have what it takes to ever put together another W.S. contender. Moncada could be the type of player a team should be built around???? But, I just do NOT see it, ....the pale hose go nowhere fast, esp not without Sale....

& believe he'd be better off on a Team more in sight with America's crosshairs of fans. After last years Future's All star game, I found this on the Bosox, and Moncada, on a net site: "For The Win"

This man is very strong and very fast and he’s probably very good at baseball. The Red Sox have too many good young position players right now. Where are they even going to put him?
Doh-:hcp:

I'd of never offered the kid more than 20 Mil to sign
, still not sure what his salary is, tho' it looks like Chicago agreed to eat it all. Actually, I don't always care to get into bid wars over young players still yet to fully come of age, tho' sounds like he has already.

after re-reading last feb. 23rd's article on Moncada signing:
Moncada will receive a $31.5 million signing bonus, which means the Red Sox will have to pay a 100 percent tax for exceeding their international bonus pool money and their cost will be $63 million to sign the Cuban infielder.

Heyman reported the Yankees offered Moncada $25 million, and were willing to go as high as $27 million.
