I know he's been overweight for quite a while, but it just hit me yesterday how he had changed from skin and bones to a rancor.

Well most players come into the league very raw and skinny. Their bodies fill out and the ones who get fat like Bartolo Colon are the ones who don't eat properly or workout consistently.Just to add to his misery:

I haven't seen any of those guys skinny, though. I think it's pretty impressive that a guy could become so out of shape during his pro career (even if it is baseball).

Colon use to be a good pitcher when he pitched for the Expos and the Indians, but I guess once he signed that fat contract all his motivation just went down the hill.
