Department of Homeland Security, in between buying jets for Kristi Noem and rounding up landscapers, posted message "we share a nation and a savior" with pictures of Christian religions symbols, American flag and Trump. Their savior.

Nazi Stephen Miller tweeted that after watching Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra in their Christmas special he wonders how anyone can think the country needs immigrants.

Dino Crocetti better known as Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. Sons of Italian immigrants. At a time when Italians weren't considered really "white". Crocetti used a stage name due to bigots like Miller with his very anglicized name.

My reaction to Stephen Miller was the stupidity. How could anyone who knows anything about American music not know Sinatra and Martin were first generation Americans, sons of Italian immigrants?

Read a columnist who had a different slant. This excuse for a man watched two great singers perform a Christmas special. He doesn't experience beauty or joy or goodwill. No, just bigotry.

A Sinatra video shown on Sunday show gave best reply. He said we come from a hundred countries and speak a hundred languages and attend a hundred churches but we are all Americans. Would you hate someone with a different haircut? His parents came from Italy but that doesn't mean he hates those whose parents came from Ireland, France, Russia or wherever.

That actually used to be the position of American conservatives. This is a great country everyone wants to come to. Sure, we heard slurs. But the official view, you radical hippies protest this country but the rest of the world wants to be American. Times have sure changed.
