Guys, for those with spouses or significant others, here's some sage gift advice to, perhaps, help prevent you from becoming a dual-bag. ;)

My son his wife and their 4 months old baby boy went to Clackamas Town center yesterday and wanted Wyatt to see Santa. There was no line because they wanted $40 for 1 pic. Couldn't just see Santa, and they wouldn't allow anyone to take their own pics. So they passed. Pissed this Granddad off. Im not opposed to a reasonable charge, but how can a family with several kids and limited income afford $40 a crack.
These mall's should always have a free wait in line Santa available for youngsters.

$40 is ridiculous...and it's extortion.

Hell, I thought the whole idea behind having a Santa in the store in the first place was to attract people to spend money in their store...so Clackamas Town is charging people for the privilege of spending their money at their store?...they wouldn't get a penny from me.

My sister-in-law's husband's brother used to make a lot of money working as a Santa Claus. Those guys get paid a lot of money doing their Christmas season jobs in shopping malls.
I use to play Santa Claus at family Christmas parties and was a big hit. Kids loved me which is quite a coincidence 'cause I love kids.
