Chuck Swirsky voted Damian Lillard for ROY

Someone talked to him a couple weeks ago (I can't remember who, was it HCP or did HCP just say someone from POR?) and he said something along the lines of "don't worry POR, Lillard has my vote".

Someone else will probably be the Swirsky this year though.

if so, we'll need to step up like last time.

I believe The HCP posted he was ribbing Swirsky and Swirsky said don't worry, Lillard has his vote, or something to that effect.

That was me son..... He promised Dame would get his vote!

John Gerrity is quoted on espn.com as picking Anthony Davis for ROY.

Who is he and does he have an official vote?

I have no idea if he has an official vote or not. You can read the comments here.

Joe Gerrity, Hornets 247: Anthony Davis. As Ethan Sherwood Strauss pointed out, Davis has contributed more despite playing substantially fewer minutes. He leads Damian Lillard in value added, wins added and win shares, as well as destroying him in PER. I'd feel differently if the Blazers had made the playoffs.

Oh brother.......

I find it odd how the Hornets guy talked about Davis' defensive prowess as a deciding factor, yet the Hornets Drtg as a team was actually better with him off the court (107.3) than on the court (107.9).

Then there's this:

In Lillard’s case, the effect of his stepping off the court is comical. Portland’s offensive efficiency plummets from 105.6 to 92.9, a drop of 12.7 points per 100 possessions. That fall takes Portland from above-average to way, way, way below the worst in the NBA. No wonder Stotts runs this guy into the ground. Meanwhile, Davis, Beal and Barnes have a minimal impact on their team’s offensive output. Both Kidd-Gilchrist (+2.7) and Waiters (+4.9) kick their team’s attack up a notch, but again both do so in smaller roles.
