1. Dame
2. Walton
3. Drexler (Should've played SF so we could've kept Drazen)
4. Roy
5. Petrie
6. Porter
7. Sabonis
8. Sheed
9. Uncle Cliffy
10. Aldridge (even though I can't stand his ass he's definitely top 10)

Loved the guy but Drazen doesn't even make my list.
Supposed to be SG's only. So frustrating that you don't read... (BTW--that was sarcasm. I'm joking with you. Just want to be REALLY clear, since you have trouble with this stuff...:) )

1. Clyde (Dad and I got to sit and have lunch with him. He became my Dad's all-time fav that day)
2. Roy
3. Paxson
4. Matthews
5. CJ
6. Petrie
7. Smith
8. Steele
9. Rider
10. Hollins

I'm looking for more of an all-time shooting guard list.

OK....which of those 2 guards would best fit along side Dame and put us in contention?

And was a horrible on the ball defender.
Clyde had great instincts. He would time the pass, and shoot the lane for steals. He also was incredibly fast. He once told Mychal Thompson he beat Carl Lewis in a race at the Univ. of Houston. That always gave Thompson the chuckles. But he wasn't a lock down defender. He was an incredible all around talent, who, IMO, was the Blazers best all time finisher at the hoop. But he wasn't a good outside shooter. He was a good defender, but not a stopper by any means. He's third on my list of closers. Dame being #1, and Brandon #2. Clyde took a lot of chances on defense. Because he had ultra quick hands.

I just never bought in to Danny. Sorry. And I'm a native. Felt he gets a lot of love because of that. But he sure had a great game 2 in that '92 Finals.

probably right. I like him for two reasons.

he bit a dudes leg in a acuffle on the court

and… i have his toronto blue jays baseball card!

Lol. So damn straight those are valid reason for him being top ten! Dont dispute! ;)

Damn I guess reading is fundamental. This man did put Derek Amnesty er.. Anderson over Bonzi tho... LOL

1. Drexler
2. Roy
3. Petrie
4. Steve Smith
5. Drazen Petrovic ( CJ has done way more for the Blazers but I think Drazen was the better player)

I would have put Hollins on my list too. Such a clutch shooter. But i thought he ran the point.

Yeah, I didn't include him for the same reason

All y'all putting Rider over Matthews are

I specifically said on the ball. ;)

Powell? Really? C'mon dude--you can't crap on Drazen's inclusion and then put Norm on your list.
True, but Powell's play blew away Drazen's , as a Blazer mind you. Powell had an incredibly impactful half season. Blazers defensive ratings were decent with him on the roster.

the point isn't to compare Norm to Drazen, but to compare Norm to any of the other 2 guards who have ever spent more than half a season here. You simply cannot reasonably say that Norm belongs in the top 10 of Blazer SG's after playing 27 games here.

And Blazer defensive ratings were improved much more by Nurk's return than Norm's addition. That argument is just terrible. Just don't even try to defend it.
