LOL every "Blazer fiber" in me screams TAKE YOUR TIME, especially when the team is 18-4 w/o him - what the hell's the hurry?

And taking his time will only help him understand what he needs to be an asset to this team. And... Maybe he won't have the rookie wall problem with more rest.

Hahaha

It needs to say

"but if you say microfracture, I will find you, and I will gut you"

Is this guy made of wood or something?? Can't seem him making a difference this year.
He has missed a lot of time the last couple of years. May have been a bad pick.

Last couple of years?

he missed his senior year and this year. That's barely 15 months

I'm pretty sure they've already been patient with the relaxed timeline.

We already have.

Disclaimer: I was all for CJ on draft day - but how in the blue hell did he get past the physical?

Broken bones or stress fractures are not exactly red-flag injuries because they typically heal. That said, we're not privy to what was on his followup x-rays from last year ... so who knows. :dunno:

We just don't want a repeat of what happened with Martell.

Yeah, agree they should take their time. But there is also a point with any return from injury the player has to increase their activity level, at which point there is a higher rate for reinjury. There is no way to completely avoid that, injuries often lead to other injuries. So yes they should be cautious but eventually you just have to take a chance and see how the body responds. If something breaks it sucks but there will always be some risk.

That's true with hospitals and clinics that use specialized network software (EPIC, Cerner, etc.) but these are typically intranets. If the Blazers used their own facilities to perform the scan they may have to send physical copies of the scans to get them to Andrews ... as far as I know they're still bound by HIPA regulations.

If there was anything to this Blazer/S2 partnership, the scans would have already been posted here, so that we could weigh in with our expert medical opinions.

barfo

So no news on this? Its 3:30 eastern time.

How long does it take to look at some scans?
Well they have to send them back east. They are using a 20-mule-team wagon to get them there. So it shouldn't be too much longer.

The scans are following an authentic "TrailBlazer" route along the Oregon trail, from Portland to Missouri. Six Oxen are pulling a wagon with the medical scans secured in a steel lined wooden chest. At the big blue river crossing the crew will attempt to ford their way over, but high river levels may lead them to chance floating safely across.

hopefully they don't die of dysentery

They probably died while fording the river.

They didn't have to ford the rivers. The cold spell that has been gripping the country was sent so the rivers would freeze over and the scan would be able to get there without getting wet (i.e., ford rivers), they just go right over on the ice.

Gramps...

How long does it take to find an optimistic spin on "foot amputation"?? :dunno:

Funny!

Why is everyone in such a hurry? It's not like he is going to break the rotation in the next month anyway. Hurry so he can sit on the bench in uniform!!!
