Made his season debut for Santa Cruz. 15 minutes, 10 points (3-5 shooting, 2-3 from deep, 2 steals.)

I thought he could help us with his shooting, but didn’t think he was coming back this year. This is a positive development, and maybe we see him at some point. Won’t count against the cap, won’t take a roster spot, and can stay with the the team the rest of the season.

Not much of a highlight mix. I’ll check the game on replay and REPORT BACK.

Just watched his 15 minutes. Moves well off the ball and has a quick release. Beat his man off the dribble a couple times so I don’t think he’s purely a spot up shooter. Showed expected rust, obviously isn’t in game shape yet. Defense was ok, nothing glaring either way.

If healthy, he’s got a better shot to contribute than Baldwin, who’s more of a long term project and doesn’t play a position of need.

Sorry, Twitch didn't work. "Renderer not available." The stupid site said it would.

Only 15 minutes in the games show me they are taking it easy on him (physically) still.

Yeah, not sure what the plan is when it comes to the Blazers, but his shot is real. Could be a cheap Connaughton/Layman replacement/bench piece next season.

Wilcox played another 15 minutes last night

13 points (4-8, 3-5 from deep), 2 rebounds and a steal.

Bring him here now.

Wilcox saw 18 minutes last night. 10 points (4-8 shooting)

So far in four games he’s averaging 10.8 PPG in 16 minutes, shooting 48% from the field and 40% from outside. Also 1.3 SPG, and a PER of 20.

He won’t see a role this season but I believe two way players become RFAs, so he should be a cheap bench piece next year. Same with Baldwin, and they should also be insurance in case Napier and Connaughton price themselves out of Portland. Layman’s contract isn’t guaranteed either, and Wilcox is an obvious replacement.

The question is: the players on the opposing teams are not ready for the move up to the next level.

Dudes out there canning 3s while the PA plays the Imperial March.

He’s like “oh shit they are playing my song”, and then spots up.
