I thought it was interesting when CJ talked about Terry going to Indiana "IF" he still wants to coach.....Terry said in his letter Portland is home....I hadn't considered that he might retire now and enjoy....in 2016 Terry mentioned after the NBA he'd like to coach in France where he played but with the covid experience...Terry might be ready to actually go fishing and stay home for a bit.
I would if I had his money and was his age at this point in life....few midwesterners like Stotts and myself would look forward to moving to the midwest after living in Oregon
I would take a year off if I was him; after all he'll be getting paid for it.

Actually a rookie player named Dame schooled him in his first game to the point of making it his last game in the NBA...and yeah...CJ choked this series when it counted

Nash got hurt early that game

...hey, I hope you're right about seeing CJ with a different HC. By all accounts he has always been very coachable. Maybe his preparation will meet opportunity as well :dunno:

Expect Kawhi 2.0 from CJ next year with a new coach.

Is THIS sarcasm???

I try to stay away from absolutes! It might be the biggest turnaround in NBA history, but I can't 100% rule it out. I may have been totally undervaluing how much our defensive scheme is holding CJ back. Trying to keep an open mind!
