This is where we miss Billy Martin. Wait for big lips Ramirez to do something of value, stop the game have his lips checked for the tobacco he's got packed in them. Then yell foul.

I have no respect for players who have no respect for the rules. No chewing tobacco is allowed on the field not even in the effing dugout. It wouldn't be so bad IF the freaking camera will quit showing close-ups a Ramirez, as if the camera man's obsessed with big lips. What you never seen big lips before??
 
Middle of the fifth and assholes just show up to the game...standing in the isle blocking me...i want to knock him out

4 runs on 1 hit...toe almost made a bone head play tagging to third...very close to being thrown out and losing that run

I haven't had a beer in 10 yrs, haven't had a glass of vino or hard liquor in 20 yrs. Listening to Kay and Cone are enough to make anyone turn to drinking, or RETURN.

With the Torreyes close play at 3rd-, Kay forgets where he's at, what Team he's calling games for, stuttering 'he looks out to me' on and on endlessly. Cone needs to stick his bottle back in his mouth, both need 2 STFU.

This is the very single reason Tv's have Mute buttons...
I'd rather listen to someone in the background scratching their fingernails on a chalkboard, than put up with K or Cone.

The era of good BB/MLB commentators is dying quick, or already dead. (To be addressed another day on a seperate post, maybe)..

food costs 18.73 for four people. Oh, and the beer was on the House!

And as long as everyone is having a good time......it’s all relative.

guess the Kid's coming around finally. If this is a transition period to better/sunny Sonny daze, I'll take it.

Tho' his stats look good, and he's hitting his locations, his fastballs come back to life, his curveball is finding its eyes... But damn does he work himself into some jams, he's lucky to get out of, rather, he's got an incredible Offensive monter on his side; with a better defense than stats reveal.

Even tho' t/Yanx have the lowest fldg pctg in MLB .978 tied with the Cubs. (O's .979 with 1 less error). Yanx no longer lead the league in errors, Tx and Milwaukee do. Tx, Milwaukee & Baltimore will only get worse as t/cream of t/Yanx rises to the top...

The Yanx and Cubs imo, will only get better as t/season progresses. Chalk t/cold early start as a reason why imo, 4 both the Yanx/Cubs, both too good defensively to not progress...
 
And the Yankees win again! Four hits and a key error bring this one home.

It's always amazed me how much a beer, coke, hot dog et al. costs in MLB parks, one beer equal to the cost of a 12 pack, HFC...

Last time I was in Chavez Ravine 5 yrs ago, 2 beers, 2 foot long hot dogs, 1 bag of peanuts+ $48, parking $20, tickets ridiculous.

Local Minor Lg concessions: 24 oz beer= $5.00, Coca-Cola 32 oz= $4.00, Hot Dogs (foot long) $4, Weeknights $2.00/2.50....for all items
