Clinton and Sanders Leave Iowa in a 'Virtual Tie'

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, the 74-year-old socialist with no major endorsements, fought Democratic party favorite Hillary Clinton to a dead heat in Iowa, with the state's critical first-in-the-nation caucuses left too close to call before both candidates left the state late Monday night.

Neither candidate claimed victory before heading to the airport to escape an impending blizzard, bound for New Hampshire and its primary just over a week away.
