Completely disregarding the numbers that police contact is disproportionately high. Stop and Frisk data proves this.

If you carry drugs in a neighborhood not policed heavily, you won't get caught so much. If you carry drugs in a heavily policed neighborhood, your chances of getting busted go up substantially.

If the cops have a preconceived notion that people in X neighborhood are likely to carry drugs, they go out of their way to stop and hassle people looking for those drugs.

In other words, they'll stop a black person in a black neighborhood for a busted tail light far more frequently than in other neighborhoods.

In this example, drugs is the example.

The schools suck in black neighborhoods because the money is diverted elsewhere. Enterprise in black neighborhoods is suppressed by government regulations and trade association rules. Cops arrest black men (especially) for the most trivial of crimes. Black unemployment is significantly higher than it rightfully should be (why is that? You won't admit or like the answer).

And you wonder why there's a sense of hopeless among the people.

I am merely disproving DVISS's assumption that white people are more violent than black people. The numbers do not support that theory.

Citing white people commit more crimes, this and that. Of course they do, they are the majority of the population. But when you start to really delve into the numbers and normalize shit, you see a disturbing epidemic among the black community, and that is black on black violent crime (murder for example); this talking point is merely an extension of another thread I was replying to him on about this very same subject where he conveniently ignored the statistics I posted. I basically am saying, BLM should be more involved in trying to stop black on black crime than anything else, including police brutality; IIRC some ~250 black people were killed by police in 2015 vs 6000 murders of blacks by blacks.

I did not. I am talking about violent crime. I nowhere ever brought up anything involving "contacts by police". Of course I did, in relation to the specific population numbers. Its simple fucking math dude.

You have 13% black
You have 70% something white

Whites commit x amount of crime
Blacks commit x amount of crime

Now in relation to their respective population percentages you will find stats out there that show black on black crime respective of their population percentage commit higher amounts of crime than whites. For example: Blacks committed 52% of homicides between 1980 and 2008, despite composing just 13% of the population. In 2013, the FBI has black criminals carrying out 38% of murders, compared to 31.1% for whites.
