I like the maps from COD4 better. I miss the big one with the two bridges and the empty riverbed thing that flows through the middle.

I also miss the one that is like a railyard thing and there are passages that go underground throughout the whole map.

This game caused my Xbox to fry.

I get the 2 overheating rings now, not sure what to do since I'm out of warranty.

I got the RROD earlier this year, sent my xbox in and got it fixed. Yesterday, our xbox 360 shut off and now it wont power back on. Nothing happens when we press the power button. Sending it in again today. Luckily my warranty got extended after the RROD fix.

I'm now rank-70 and I gotta say the 1887 shotgun is the most vicious weapon on the game.

Tonight I was in a free-for-all and I think XBOX had a glitch in the system because there were 20 people in a single free-for-all. People were literally spawning inside other players. Spawn killing was crazy. You couldn't go very far at all w/o getting killed.

Hell I had played for a week before I had my first postive kill to death ratio. Learning the maps is a big part of the game, especially for the weapon combo you are using. I have finally figured out some of that. I just had my first first place finish on Saturday.

My sweetest setup right now is

LSW-Grip for accuracy, and either red dot or holographic site attachments
Bling
Extra firewpower
Controlled breathing for accuracy.

P90 machine pistol as backup. Red Dot site.

They ruined a perfectly good franchise. I loved COD4 but this game sucks ass. They fucked up hardcore, and the akimbo crap is utterly ridiculous. Dudes sprinting around the map with two shotguns is beyond comprehension. They never should have gone away from dedicated servers. They messed with a good thing and now the game sucks. They should have just added new content and left it the way it was.

In what world does it take two shots from a .50 sniper rifle to kill someone?

I like using the shield a lot in the actual objective based matches to help my team, so that probably doesn't help my stats, but i don't care about them, still get the points.

Well it sucks because I used to like playing on hardcore servers on COD4. It was basically the same game only with higher damage output and usually the 203 was restricted. Unfortunately COD6 has no hud and TK's for hardcore, so they've pretty much turned it into a camp fest.

I don't like regular TDM because it takes too many shots to kill a guy. If I shoot you three times, you shouldn't be able to stab me or shoot me or do anything really. You should just die.

Sometimes if feeling more evil than normal, I go with marathan, the faster run speed, and exteneded melee range and just sprint around with a knife and take people out with melee attacks. They can rarely turn in time to kill me if I play it right and keep my guy mostly indoors.

I just unlocked the tactical knife for an M9... and with Marathon and Lightweight and Commando Pro I have been running around crazy DaRizzle style lol.. Commando Pro is awesome I was jumping off cliffs on Afghan down to the crashed plane and stabbing people like crazy. Its not the best way to play for my K/D ratio.. I started the night with a 1.57 and am now a 1.54 even though.. although I was ending up with literally about 27 kills a game as opposed to the usual 18 I normally get. so much fun!

I used to do that on hardcore though. Most people have shit reflexes. It's not fair if you can't shoot the guy though. If I shoot you before you knife me, you shouldn't be able to knife me.

lol yeah it did.. I honestly played until 2 last night and I didnt fire a gun for a few hours.. although my left thumb did hurt from holding down the left thumb stick while moving it around for so long lol. But yeah Favela was fun to try it on.. but oddly enough the one where I had the highest K/D ratio.. was Wasteland the huge ass sniper map lol. But the huge ass falls with pro dont hurt you is so freakin awesome! Something satisfying about jumping 30 feet and attacking someone.. I felt like a Velociraptor just preying on people lol! thanks for that idea!

yeah I run around with the pistol and the tactical knife for the quick strikes lol. It was so freaking awesome to run in behind guys puppy-guarding C on domination on Afghan.. I literally came in and killed 6 members of the other team in about 8 seconds. I'm on 360 though, otherwise I would totally party up with you.

While I like the game and all, I don't think it lived up to the hype. I think a lot of the war type games topped out when BF2 came out. I really haven't seen anything new since. A lot of them are the same game, with just different graphics and maps. Not that they aren't fun. Nobody has came up with anything new on game types for a long time now.

try domination to get your score up to get some good weapons.. at least with domination you have a pretty good idea where the enemies will be.

Oh I don't know about that. I spend a lot of time creeping through buildings and only sprinting in between, and I am pretty successful so far. My biggest problems so far is learning the maps, and the occasional cheater. It helped a lot when they banned 2500 or so cheaters about 2 weeks ago. It would have helped more if they would have just allowed people to run their own servers so they can ban them.

That's what i've been doing so far, i find that i can't really stand team deathmatch, but it's like that in every online game for me. I just unlocked the p90 and am liking it, but i really need to get a scope for it.
