Same here. My college might end up being the Ohio State branch near me.

ive always wanted to go to Texas @ austin, but my parents want me to go to a college closer to home like SMU or UNT or something

texas is SOO crowded. I personally wouldn't want to go there. My brother goes there now.I'm planning on going somewhere in the New England area. Boston College is a little too expenisive, so i'm considering Providence.

If I get a scholarship (and I am not counting on any right now) I will go for sure, but if not, I am not sure.I don't even have a goal for my life right now, lol, I should prolly be thinking about it being 17 and all, right now the best goal/plan for my future I can come up with is "McDonald's employee of the month."</div>I hear what you're saying man. I felt the same way before going to college, but trust me, college is more to learn about life in general than studying, etc. Obviously, you go to college to get a degree so you can get a nice job and live a good life, but the life lessons, relationships, memories, experiences, etc., are a lot more valuable than any degree that you can obtain. The school work isn't that hard either, in my opinion, and I'm in one of the top business schools in the country. It really depends on what you want to major in, and what kind of person you are. But, like I said before, I feel where you're coming from because I felt the same way before I went to college, but trust me you'll figure out what is best for you.
