Just a heads up. Comcast just added a ton of new HD channels to their lineup.
 
MLB TV, NFL, NHL but no NBA TV for some reason.
Bunch of news channels including ESPN news.
Kids and entertainment for the rest.

We've had NBATV in HD in Seattle all season. CSNNW isn't, though.
 
OMG. WGN in HD. I think I just came. Where'd you get that list BeerBoy?

Also, I'm new to comcast -- is it the comcast sportsnet channel that has Blazer games? I don't see it on my HD list -- is it not in HD?

Got the list from Comcast.com


The Trail Blazer CSN games that are broadcast in HD are on channel 737 here in the Portland area. Mariner HD games are often on that channel now.

About time.....they have been seriously lagging behind their competitors for a while for both quantity and quality of HD content. I currently have FIOS TV and Internet, but will be moving back into Portland in the next couple months where you can only get Comcast.
 
Weird -- no WGN HD in Seattle. Major bummer. You'd think the packages might be a little more standard than that.

Absolutely love it and have had zero problems in the year and a half that I've been using FIOS. Right now Verizon has an awesome deal packaging their HD programing and 20-5 internet, so I would do it in a heart beat. The only question about FIOS is that Verizon is trying to sell off the parts of its business and the FIOS division is up for sale. There actually was an article on Oregonlive that Frontier Communications bought it, but no one can find any information to validate the information.

Just do it
 
It makes me want to get back to Oregon even more. In Colorado, we have yet to get many of those channels.
 
FIOS is brilliant and I'd switch to it immediately. Really quick internet and a lot of HD channels to flick through.
