...but but but ...this year's starting rotation will be just as good as last year's opening day rotation...lol

...on a serious note, fwiw, Greene was actually traded to Detroit in a 3-way deal.

Good catch Ron I forgot about that.

bbbbbbut the Yankee pithing staff was in the middle of the pack last year, both bullpen and SP...aaaand......they'll probably be there abouts tttthis year also....

Bbbut I forgot, it wwon't matter because thththeir offense should be just as anemic as lllllast year.

I have very little hope that everything goes perfect enough for this roster to have success. Tex will continue to make excuses, act like he 43 years old and I'm sure visit the DL once or twice. He's a broken down PED user and that's all there is to it.

Beltran is what he is. An older player who has already played his best years. He's maybe a little bit better than when the dynasty teams added Chili Davis and David Justice.

McCann had a miserable start which hurt his overall numbers. He's solid behind the plate and if can do .245 22 75 I don't see how you can be unhappy.

With Arod it all depends on what you want out of this club. If he's healthy they need numbers out of him. We can complain and hate him all we want. The bottom line is that if he can play this roster would need production put of him.

Sadly this club resembles less of a solid team & more of an accident waiting to happen.

....not surprised that you'd somehow think this year's staff will fare as well as last year's.

...this year's staff is nowhere close to what it was on opening day last year. The Yanx were 70-72 without Tanaka last year and were fortunate to win that many games in great part to the fact that the pitching staff over-achieved. Unless I totally miscounted there were 77 games last year when the pitching held the opposition to 3 runs or less...I don't see them repeating that this year with the current staff.

The staff is another if game. If Tanaka and Pineda stay healthy. If CC can be half way decent. Atleast Kuroda was reliable. Now it's bullshit crap garbage like Capuano.

Sadly not much will change until the huge money they owe Arod, Tex and CC is off the books. Until then we will be shown the same smoke and mirrors routine from Cashman.

...I can see Tex at least improving over last year, but not much...but then again, if he can somehow swallow his pride and stubbornness and learn to take what the shift gives him and maybe raise his BA to .260 and OPS to .800+ or so, with the addition of his defense, he and CC could be the wild cards this year.t

Tex should be forced to fight Brock Lesnar.
