We used to be the best, but all of these trios either proved themselves already or look just too good on paper.

But seriously, CLos said it best. All of those aforementioned trios have big men. The Nets have the best backcourt in the NBA, but that's never been enough to win a title. You need a Grant, a Rodman, a Duncan, a Big Ben, a Shaq, etc.
