People have been prophesying about the end of the world and raptures and such since the beginning of human history. Every day you can probably go downtown and find someone with a "the end of the world is near" sign.
I get if one just uses this as another example of some whack-ed out old guy spewing nonsense and makes fun of it.
But what is it about this particular clown (who's already been wrong once) and his numerical musings about the rapture and the end times that makes it show up on mainstream news? Or that people somehow think that Christians everywhere, instead of following what the Bible says, will now magically turn and believe what some crazy old guy says? Or that somehow, if his "prediction" doesn't come true, that that means anything whatsoever about the existence of God?
I'm not mad, just curious. Especially for the non-believers in here.
