It's a bit sad that this was even a point of debate late in the season.

ESPN's "analysts" are idiots, but we've all known that for some time. Even Henry Abbott blew this one.
 
Congrats Lillard, but we already knew this was a lock... more than anything, I like how Alex Kennedy, a former s2 poster, is the guy that broke the news. I remember talking ball with him on the old JBB when he was just some 15 yr old kid trying to get press credentials to Magic games. Much respect Alex...
 
There was no question that Lillard was going to win this. The real question is, was it unanimous?

I will be surprised if it's unanimous. It's bullshit, but there were too many morons talking about Davis at the end. Someone will vote for Davis.
 
So we have now had 2 ROY's in 7 seasons. But, we haven't made it out of the first round of the playoffs. Go figure.

I'm so happy about this. He thoroughly deserved it. It easy to say "if I played more minutes, I'd be amazing" but Lillard played the minutes (most in league) and was amazing. I fully believe he can become a top 5 player in the league with Kobe and Wade falling off. Go Blazers!!
 
But Anthony Davis!!1! Can we come up with the next Deron is Deron, but with Anthony is Anthony?

This one means more to me than Roys did.... maybe it's because I thought Roy's class was pretty weak, and Dame had some good players in his draft. Davis, Beal, Drummond, Waiters.. I think this draft will end up being a lot better than Aldridge and Roy's draft.
