Put in a valiant effort, but just couldn't get their offense going.

OK.... this is a BLAZER forum. this ridiculous national title game that should have ben played a month ago is OVER. Let it go and get back to the topic.

thank god. I AM SO SICK OF SEEING BLAZER GAMES with 5 million duck references. I am so sick of MSP talking ducks. I am so sick of espn pimping this game.
 
Well, at least Mixum, we won't have duck fans talk weeks and weeks about this game and their program. They fell short pure and simple and the SEC has won the title now for 5 years straight.
 
Auburn showed no class after the win. Their coach and their players never once mentioned Oregon in the post-game interviews. No mention of the Ducks' effort, their strategy, their offense, their defense, or their coaching. Nothing. You'd think an opponent who tied the game up with less than 3 minutes to go and almost stole the game from Auburn would merit at least one mention in the post-game interviews, just out of respect, but it didn't happen.

Hey, we had a tough day. Quizz declared for the draft. Having the Ducks win the NT on the same day would have been too much for me.
 
I feel threatened. Notice that the Beavers beat their wide spread? Lost by only 3.

Why are you picking this off topic post to complain about? So you wait til the second biggest sports entity in Oregon plays for a national title and then you complain? Get the hell out of here! You ever even been to Portland or Oregon?

College teams from down South crack me up. They can be the biggest POS cheaters, but if they reference God a couple times in post game interviews the fans down there think they're saints.

I'm sorry, but the similarities between Scam Newton and Reggie Bush are eerily similar. Give it a year, or two. Something will come out and he'll be forced to give back the Heisman.

I rarely agree with you. But, I do on this. A team that wins on a game winning field goal should atleast give the opponents a little props for a hard fought game.
 
I'm still trying to find the dirty plays that Auburn did but none have shown up on you tube yet.
 
I believe it just would become vacated - as someone else (TCU) would have been unfairly denied a chance to win it.
 
I Auburn is stripped of the title nobody would get it.

After the USC scandal has anyone ever called Oklahoma the 2004 champs? Or what about Auburn in 2004, they went undefeated in the SEC, won the SEC title game, won their bowl game. They definetely should be ranked ahead of Oklahoma....

Yup, great point. We know for a fact Oregon is an inferior team to Auburn. But TCU could be better than either school, we just don't know.
 
Hell YES CONGRATS TO THE DUCKS!!!!! They had a great year, they have all their talent coming back and great talent coming in, + a coach who i know wont rest till this loss is avenged.... The national championship will be in the Duck Zone very soon!
