It's possible it could. Teams have been doing it all year to Oregon as we seem to have a historic number of opposing players who are failing to hydrate themselves.
Cal was not only the worst, the signal from coaching staff was caught on TV.
There are several videos floating around about this and one has around 15000 hits. I've encouraged fans that fake injuries potentially hurt the real injured players (not taken seriously) and football should be above this kind of unethical calling.
I'm rooting for anyone who plays Cal from here on out and I hope Cal recruits saw what a crap coach Tedford is and how he not only taught his players to cheat, he threw his kicker under the bus.
Who wants to play for a guy like that?
