This was on an Israeli TV show where one of the best phsycics (you know, reading minds, telekensis, etc.) ever, Uri Geller, tests some of Israel's best up and coming phsycics. Anyway, this guy read a woman's mind: he told her to think of a number. Then, he drew this on a board:
61 1 12 7
11 8 60 2
5 10 3 63
4 62 6 9
He drew up the whole thing in around 6, 7 seconds, it seemed like he was just writing random numbers.
He told the woman to tell him the number she thought of, and she said 81. She said her number wasn't anywhere on the board. But, he then showed an amazing thing: if you add up all the numbers in every column (like in the 1st to the right, 7+2+63+9), it adds up to 81.
If you add up all the numbers in each row (like in the 2nd row from the top 11+8+60+2), it adds up to 81.
If you add up the numbers in each diagnol (like from top left to bottom right 61+8+3+9) you get 81.
Finally, if you add up the four numbers in the corners (61+9+7+4), you get 81.
He easily advanced.
