Can you guess what the number one cause of death in the U.S. is?

I literally made a half serious, off the cuff joke and your shitting yourself demanding I quantify it with proof and/or evidence.

Christ man, look at yourself.

How am I "shitting myself" by simply asking for someone to back up a vague/broad and incorrect claim by you about me?...statements without support don't carry weight, otherwise they are merely "opinions". And that's all you've offered, your opinion.

Ya know, it's coming back to me...I now remember, you're the guy who makes statements but when asked to support your statement, you scream "I don't have to"...my bad for not remembering your MO.

Your comment about me was no "half serious, off the cuff joke" as you claim...it was condescending and insulting. I then asked you to "quantify" your claim...you refused.

But you're telling me to "look at myself"?...I have, and I'm perfectly satisfied with what I see. Don't like it?...I really don.t care.

So I've seen more articles about the possibility that CA had this early and I mentioned how my boss was so ill with these symptoms and he tested negative for the flu in January. Everyone was sick.

I was curious so I googled ca death rates and found articles like this.

How possible is it that people were dying and they didn't actually test positive for the flu but were counted as flu deaths?

Here's my stupid bodyman guess.

We got the Chinese strain almost immediately and it moved through. I read an article that said CA might have already had it.

Now I wonder if we don't have the European strain here. With wide open spaces unlike NY and our new lockdown it still is more deadly than what we had late last year but not out of control.

Not sure how accurate it is but read somewhere that people who went to their doctor or the hospital with some symptoms that were not deemed to be serious enough to be tested, were sent back home....they subsequently died. And because they had not been tested, the people who died at home were not counted towards the total virus deaths.

Yeah, there were a lot of people sick including myself around that time here as well. Many of the symptoms the ill exhibited were expressed more as bothersome than serious as it lasted for 3 to 4 weeks.

My illness was not like any flu I ever had.

I talked to a nurse friend of mine yesterday and mentioned how many people I know, myself included, were really sick in the month or so leading up to the hysteria. Many of these people tested negative for flu strains. She said it’s a pretty common conclusion among her doctors that this has been around and spreading since at least November. And that’s just where I live.

Question:

How am I "shitting myself"

Answer:

No, that's not what you said...you said "The longer the time, the lesser the intelligence."... didn't your time start at birth?...ergo, according to you. the older you get the dumber you get...that was your attempt at being clever.

Why?...because you said so?

Instead of just saying things that you cannot/will not quantify, try actually providing something with some semblance of proof/evidence for a change. If you did, at least you'd have something to hang your hat on, instead of vague and baseless accusations.

This was all due to me writing a silly, sentence-long anecdote I made up on the spot. I had forgotten about it within a minute after posting it and you are still crying about it. Dry your tears and move on, friend.

A book of nursery rhymes would keep you busy for weeks. You could quantify why jack and Jill went up the hill, and present evidence as to why they needed a pail of water.

Lemme see, according to you I'm "shitting myself" and "crying" all because I asked you to point to where I was wrong, and instead of doing that, you simply repost my posts, again with nothing tangible from you. Evidently, you think that if someone asks simple and direct questions it somehow equates to "whining and shitting". Why don't you instead just say that you don't have a viable answer?

You're making insulting claims but when you are asked to specifically say why you believe I am supposedly wrong, you come up empty.

My wife made me get a flu shot in early September. In January when my coworkers were sick and seemed like they would rather die I thought it was the flu.

I went home and gave her a high five because I thought the shot had saved me.

I also got a flu shot in September and will do so again this year.
I guess it wasn't the shot. It was that I actively stayed the fuck away from everyone when they were sick. My knees are shot and I don't run but I jogged away from the sickies a few times.

They looked like hell but we always work when we are sick in my job.

I suppose the vitamins my wife makes me take helped too.

Can you guess why McDonald's is an essential business during a lockdown? I can't.

Not sure if this was a serious question or not...and not sure how essential they are, but I'm guessing that like most fast food chains, McDonalds has closed indoor seating but still serves through the drive-throughs.

Yes it was a serious question. McDonald's contributes to more deaths than this virus in this country. 600 thousand deaths a year give or take.

What is essential about this place?

I don't think drive through service is safe from spreading this anyway. You're still touching something someone else touched, gloves or not.

And for every hamburger eaten at Burger King, Mac's, Inn and Out represent an 1/2 acre of the Brazilian Rain Forest Cut down.
