Brian fucking Kemp says that certain businesses "may reopen".

...I just wonder what percentage of those business will use their own judgement and opt instead to stay closed for now?

I think probably restaurants, bars and parks?

It would certainly be bad news if we don't get chicken pox like immunity

Shingles is pretty unpleasant, I can say from experience.

I'd vote for something better than chicken pox immunity, if I got a vote.

Well remember, he's the one that essentially rigged an election to win as Govenor. No doubt in my mind that Stacey Abrams should have won that election.

Um, none of them? People are desperate and running out of money.

Yeah, but Gyms, and Bowling Alleys, and Tattoo parlors?...not like they're really that important to the economy.
They're important to the people who work there! Not to mention the people who risked it all to start a business, that they are currently watching crumble before their eyes.

Does this concept really escape you? Ever heard of a job? They kinda make the economy happen.

If you don’t understand this you should probably be eating ice cream with Pelosi.

Ummm, most of those employees are eligible for $600+ bring home pay a week in unemployment benefits, which is more that many of them were making before.

Hey, shingles isn't chicken pox. Just because one leads to the other doesn't mean you didn't get a nice immunity.

Don't be so ungrateful.

The system is swamped. People aren’t getting shit they can’t even sign up.

lol...

Same exact answer as my previous reply, and benefits also extend to small businesses...and if you can't understand this, I don't know what to tell you.

Not at all surprised though that you'd respond with an insulting/condescending reply.

Well, who's in charge of "the system"?...Seems to be working just fine in my state though.

Glad everything is dandy in yankee59 world. Makes me wonder what you’re always on here bitching about.

First problem I have with this report is. I have lost all confidence in anything the CDC does or says.

But more direct. The first wave is taking out a lot of the elderly and those with dangerous conditions. Many may get the virus in the second wave, but there is a possibility not as many will need hospitalization.

This could change if newer versions of the virus are more deadly.

I'm sure it puts a big smile on Trump's face. He'll go along with it.

Heard this a little earlier...damn, I sure hope they're wrong.
