Same as under Obama, same as under Bush. Trump is still extreme, but the left and the right have always hated each other, had their agenda.

You had Occupy Wall Street and before that, the anti-War protests and what not.

The extremes are louder because of the net, though.

Trump white house staffer starts company to make masks. No prior experience. Company exists for 11 days, gets huge contract from Trump administration to provide masks to Navajo nation. Masks provided far fewer than needed and poor quality, all but useless. Drain the swamp!

Rioters always burn their own cities because if they went elsewhere they’d get their buts kicked.
It’s like the kid throwing a temper tantrum and punching holes in his homes wall or sitting it on fire.
Like to see them go to Fargo or Green Bay to set fire and loot. Wouldn’t happen!

If an armed group of men walk back and forth in front of my house while yelling at my family inside you can bet I'm gonna be pretty pissed even if they don't actually set my house on fire.

I feel bad for the legit protesters as they need to be heard. This cop should go to prison.
But, you cannot allow idiots to burn down neighborhoods or willing steal by looting it totally counters what the protest should be about.
I saw a young girl that was terrified her community was going to burn. Sad

In California, one of the fist counties to 're-open' in the 1st part of May has now closed again because of a significant increase in Covid cases:

this was really close to that 3 week lag in data vs infection that's been talked about so much. And we're starting to see that in other early opening counties and states. If this trend holds things are going to get a lot worse nationally toward the end of next week because that's around the 3 week point of several states who opened back up mid-May

That's the way I see it. Oregon will start up again in 2-3 weeks too since people started getting out in force over the Memorial Day weekend. We were at Cannon Beach yesterday on business, and the beaches were slammed. By all appearances, people weren't paying much attention to social distancing. I just don't think it's in us to stay hunkered down for extended periods of time.
