HUNDREDS GATHER AT PORTLAND WATERFRONT, WITHOUT MASKS, TO SEE CONTROVERSIAL WORSHIP LEADER
When asked about the lack of safety measures in the middle of the pandemic, people in attendance didn’t have concerns.
I'll be taking a dump at 9:00 PM.
Flew from LAX to PDX over the weekend.
Flight to PDX was operated by Horizon Air on Alaska (Embraer Jet). The stewardesses were very vigilent on mask wearing, social distancing, etc. People could only stand up to deplane when the persons in front of them got up. I thought it was a good system. It was a 2 + 2 configuration on the plane and it was set up 2 people on one side and 1 person in the window seat with the aisle seats empty. They were regularly ensuring people were wearing masks over mouth and nose.
2nd flight was a normal Alaska flight. Middle Seats empty, probably 60% capacity. Seemed more lax overall, but the rules were enforced, people were keeping to themselves, etc.
PDX was very quiet, the B/C gate checkpoint was closed, as were the stores by it, so we had to go on the D gates and walk over. At TSA, they have you pull down your mask when checking IDs.
Didn't see any people take their masks down other than eating/drinking. Maybe 2 or 3 people on the flights wore face shield.
Did you have to check your sword or could you keep it in your carry on?
