Well yeah, they won't let you in the VA hospital without a temperature check. Who would not submit to that knowing that the facility could not know one of the major signs that you may have come down with Covid-19 unless they checked your temperature? Try getting on an airplane without submitting to the temperature check even if you've paid mucho bucks for a first class ticket.

My wife and I got our second shot of the Moderna vaccine over the weekend. While we had relatively mild reactions to the shot, I can't imagine playing basketball with as tired and achy as I felt. From what I've read, younger people often have stronger reactions to the second dose than older folks like me. The Blazers get their second shots on April 19th and play the Clippers on the 20th. Basically the entire team will be dealing with some side effects, with the absolute minimum being a really sore arm. I'm not optimistic about their chances in that game.
